ROBERT GELLER SPRING/SUMMER 2008 1ST DELIVERY

Robert Geller's spring/summer collection hasn't quite arrived just yet, but we couldn't wait to share some pictures. We are completely in love with the collection and are terribly excited for the arrivals to begin. This first shipment will include some heavier seasonal transition pieces while the later two shipments are going to have some lighter weight pieces, including; lighter weight jackets, jeans, shorts, loose neck t-shirts, more shirts, and accessories.

Please note that the color the item is pictured in may not be the color we are receiving. Also note that the "purple" color we are getting the leathers in is a very very dark shade which appears almost black.

The first shipment from Rag & Bone's spring/summer 2008 collection has arrived! This shipment included a 100% wool spring weight navy suit and a very cool slim black jacket. The jacket has already become a personal favourite piece of mine for this season!

COUNTDOWN WITH SHIPLEY & HALMOS

Shipley & Halmos was the second brand to be featured on Refinery29's new season of The Countdown, which began just last week. Shipley & Halmos's spring/summer 2008 collection is due to ship within the next month.

Later this month, the Countdown will also be featuring Band of Outsiders.

COMING SOON.. DIET BUTCHER SLIM SKIN

Soon we will bringing in a small selection of pieces from the spring/summer 2008 collection of Japan's Diet Butcher Slim Skin. Founded in 2002, Diet Butcher Slim Skin is the vision of Hisashi Fukatami who brings his obvious punk influence (check out the Darby Crash-inspired f/w 2007 collection 'I AM A GERM ANYWAYS', for example), into his wildly original designs. This coming collection is being heralded by many as his best yet and we will be happy to have it in the store!

We were only able to get a hold of a small amount of pieces this time around, but we are sure our customers will love them all. Coming in several shipments over the next few months will be: jeans, slim pants, t-shirts/tops, footwear, and a few other goodies. The pieces are coming in small sizes so slim guys; take notice.

The first shipment will hopefully be here around early February, but until then check out the runway show from the collection (below), their official site, and an interview from JC Report.

"JCR: Where did the name Diet Butcher Slim Skin come from, is it a punk rock name?

HF: It doesn't have any meaning. I liked the name because it has beat and rhythm."

INTRODUCING: KAZUO

Kazuo is the creation of Little Tokyo, Los Angeles resident and this current spring collection is his debut. Joel K became influenced early on by Japanese street fashion but was always finding typical Japanese cuts too slim for his non-Japanese build. He chose to bring this influence into his brand while cutting the clothes in a slightly more forgiving fashion. The collection keeps things very focused with minimal designs and a simple color palette, but the minor details are what perfect the garments. We are looking forward to whatever else Joel K is able to come up with in the future, in particular an upcoming (fall 2008) collaboration with Unholy Matrimony's Brett Westfall!

A.P.C. SPRING 2008 - PART ONE

The spring shipments are already coming in! Late last week we received the first part of our spring 2008 shipment from A.P.C., which is really proving to be a great collection. We are working to get pictures of everything for the blog, but for now take a look below of what we have to show so far.
