LOCAL EVENTS: PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET TODAY, SATURDAY DEC. 10TH!

Today, Saturday, December 10, is the twice a year Punk Rock Flea Market from noon to 10pm at the Underground Events Center, 2407 1st Ave. in Belltown. Admission is just $1 which goes directly to our local Low Income Housing Institute. Try your luck, take a chance, spend a buck, buy some pants. Nothing sold will come with a warranty, nor is there a return policy, but for those with a sense of adventure and tightly crossed fingers, there WILL be bargains.

Twice a year vendors from around the region converge on the subterranean strip mall with all manner of treasures. More than 50 peddlers, canvassers, cheap jacks and solicitors pile into the dark corridors of the Underground Events Center to sell an enormous variety of arts, crafts, comic books, belt buckles, bike parts, jewelry, vintage clothing, fine furniture, stereo equipment, jams and jellies, cakes and cookies, tools, magazines, records, musical instruments, zippo lighters, shoes, smoking accessories, and other untold riches of punk rock ephemera. Also present will be a wide variety of mostly-healthy handmade food as well as live and bottled music from all cultures. See you there!
