SALE ITEM OF THE DAY: WHILLAS & GUNN MASCOT BOMBER
Whillas & Gunn are purveyors of fine Australian outback inspired clothing. But they go further than this by incorporating inspiration from military, workwear, and recreation. These disparate origins are fused together with a modernist angle to produce garments that are have one foot in the past and one planted firmly in the future.
The Mascot bomber's design comes from the famous "Ike" jacket, a tailored, cropped wool officer's jacket made famous by Dwight Eisenhower during WWII. This variant is longer in the body and black in color. It is also made with heavyweight cotton twill and has two inside pockets for personal effects, a brown plaid lining, and a belted waist cinching. Two front hand pockets are a haven for hands on a cold winter's night. Satin-lined sleeves let you put it on or take it off with ease.
