SKULL JEANS

We have finally received restocks of our popular jeans by Skull from Japan. Along with restocks of the "super slim" 5010XX cuts in indigo and grey (more information here), we also received the 5010XX cut in 6x6 denim (more on that below) and an all new cut, the "traditional slim straight" 5507XX.

Both of jeans are a one-wash. They will still fade beautifully, like raw denim, but you do not have to worry about any further shrinking.

Super Slim 5010XX 6x6 (indigo one wash) ($254)
This jean was made as a special edition to celebrate Fabfour's ten year anniversary. It is cut like the normal 5010XX but uses a heavier weight, 14.5oz, selvage denim*. The jeans are sewn by vintage-like methods such as cotton threads.

* As opposed to the normal edition, which is 7x6, this denim is called 6x6. The thread thickness is measured by numbers, 0 being the thickest. The first number indicates the warp thread and the second number indicates the weft. Therefore, the warp is of a slightly heavier material, resulting in a thicker denim. Pictures below is a comparison shot between the 5010XX 6x6 denim (above) and the normal (7x6) 5010XX denim (below)

Traditional Slim Straight 5507XX (indigo one wash) ($228)
The 5507XX is a great straight leg cut which, like all other Skull jeans, has been created with great attention to detail and vintage sewing methods. It is a zipper fly which "locks" into place so that it does not come undone when you may not want it to. This cut is great for people who want a nice, classic, straight jean which is less slim than the 5010XX.
