RAF BY RAF SIMONS

Since his first menswear collection in 1995, Raf Simons has been unleashing his oftentimes twisted vision onto the fashion world. His dark themes take many queues from punk and industrial music and, especially in his mainline, it definitely shows. With thoughts of the Germs, Joy Division, David Bowie, Kraftwerk, and Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow-Up going through his head, Simons continues to surprise us all with his extreme silhouettes and intense designs. Simons took over as creative director of Jil Sander in 2005, working in both mens and womenswear for the line. In 2006 he introduced a new menswear line of his own, Raf by Raf Simons. With the continuing experimentation of his mainline, Raf by Raf often revisits his existing themes, oftentimes with a very youthful feeling.

This was our first shipment from Raf by Raf. More will follow, along with the Raf Simons mainline.
