STORM WEATHER SHANTY CHOIR: LIVE IN-STORE @ THE FIELD HOUSE - TUES 13TH @ 6pm

Special Guest: Storm Weather Shanty Choir (listen: http://www.myspace.com/shantychoir ) This is a real privilege for us at The Field House. All the way from Norway, the Storm Weather Shanty Choir will be playing the Tractor in Ballard on night of the 13th. But before they do, they will offer up a small set at The Field House!! They will also be in Ballard playing the Nordic Heritage Museum the next day. The Field House show will start at 6pm, which gives us all a good chance to finish up with work and come enjoy some Norwegian folk/sailor rock n roll.

Storm Weather Shanty Choir consists of six singers and musicians with backgrounds ranging from rock, pop (guitar player from Magnet (N) and William Hut (N), Roald Kaldestad), metal and folk, and for credibility's sake, a sailor/shanty man who has sailed for many seasons aboard the tall ship SS Statsraad Lehmkuhl who also has a masters degree on shanties and sea-songs. We have been together for almost ten years, we claim to be one of the most curious live rock/folk acts in Norway and we always give extraordinary live shows, were songs from the seven seas get mixed from a-capella to full instrumentation, rock n roll style!
