THE ALDEN INDY BOOT: NOW AVAILABLE IN THREE COLORS!
Alden's historic Indy Boot has been a fan favorite here at Blackbird since the first pair of 405s (pictured above) got pulled out of the box late last summer. Originally dubbed the High Work Shoe in the late 1930's, it's been known as the Indy Boot since Harrison Ford wore it in the Indiana Jones movies.
Given their insane popularity, we're scratching our heads as to why the idea to get a few more colors in stock didn't come to mind a little sooner, but we figure it's better late than never! Presenting Alden of New England's High Work Shoe Indy Boots in Chromexcel black and brown:

LAST: True Balance
UPPER: Horween Chromexcel waxed calf leather
OUTSOLE: oil resistant Neo-Cork sole
INSOLE: leather with the "Made expressly for Blackbird" heel pod
SHANK: steel shank for long-lasting strength and support
LACING: flat cotton lacing through agatine and hook eyelets
WELT: Goodyear leather welt construction
LINING: fully leather lined.
FIT: These boots run large. We recommend sizing down one half size. Alden shoes are also available to special order in C and EE widths. We stock D - let us know if you need something different.
