BACK IN BLACK - BAXTER OF CALIFORNIA SAFETY RAZOR

King Camp Gillette, a traveling hardware salesman of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin invented the double-edged, disposable safety razor attached to a re-usable razor handle. Beforehand, dull razors were taken to barbers for sharpening. With Gillette's double-edged and disposable blades, a uniform shave on a man's face could be achieved with a fresh blade and disposed after it was used. Gillette applied for a patent in 1901. It was granted in 1904.

Baxter uses this same design and updates it with their classic branding. This style of wet shave razor remains first choice amongst young and old alike. Comes in a matte black gift box and includes starter pack of blades and a detailed instruction card.

We now have the Baxter of California Safety Razor back in stock at our Apothecary in our Field House location.
