L'Artisan Parfumeur - L'eau De L'artisan
DETAILS: A quintessential L'Artisan perfume, L'Eau de L'Artisan captures the essence of a summer fragrance. The beauty of the composition lies in its balance and simplicity, which translates to the epitome of freshness. L'Eau opens with verbena and lemon with touches of mint and basil, shining their bright rays into the noses of innocent passersby. Just below this lie notes of seaweed and grass, where the element of balance becomes clearly apparent. Unlike many perfumes that build their foundations on cleanliness and citrus (that can end up smelling overpowering), L'Eau carefully rides the line between vegetable and fruit notes. The soft sweetness of the grass and the seaweed prevent the crisp citrus head from overbearing, and as a result, the fragrance sparkles beautifully from start to finish, refreshing the wearer and acting as a reminder that life is fundamentally simple and good. L'Eau de L'Artisan is an excellent, unisex choice for fans of classic perfume, and for those who wish to wear something subtle, clean, and delightful.
FRAGRANCE NOTES: lemon, verbeena, mint, basil, grass, seaweed

L'artisan Parfumeur - Voleur De Roses
DETAILS: Voleur de Roses translates to "rose thief," a fitting title for this eccentric rosey fragrance. Masculine florals are rarely successful in the world of perfume, but the notes of Voleur, including a prominent rose alongside patchouli, plum, and a touch of bergamot accomplish the task quite well. It almost smells dirty, not unlike the rich scent of damp soil hinted at by the pungency of patchouli dancing with plum. This perfume is an excellent choice for both men and women looking to leave the comfort zone of the known for something out of the ordinary. Surprisingly excellent, it is an ode to a rose garden in a thunder storm.
FRAGRANCE NOTES: bergamot, rose, plum, patchouli

DETAILS: Designed to evoke thoughts and visions of a wedding story from the Kama Sutra where a bride's veil was sprinkled with sugar and pepper, Poivre Piquant translates loosely to hot pepper. The head of the fragrance is a clear, concentrated white pepper note, which is slightly hot to the nose when introduced. As both sugar and pepper were sprinkled on the bride's veil, in Poivre, behind the white pepper note is a soft, luxurious bed of milk and honey. The soft yet firm nature of milk along with the syrupy, slow-moving sweetness of honey create the perfect foundation for white pepper to rest on, veering away from the overt nature of the pepper and balancing it out into something extravagant and suitable for all occasions. An additional pinch of licorice to this perfume balances it into being a phenomenal unisex fragrance for the later hours of the day and on into the night. Familiar yet strange, Poivre Piquant is a triumphant combination of pepper, milk, and honey that will haunt your senses like only your favorite fragrance can.
