The venerable French candlemakers, Cire Trudon have been around longer than any other candle manufacturer (for you history buffs, Cire Trudon began when the Thirty Year's War was still going strong. Yes, really...). With that in mind, it's clever that they should be able to pack so much history and skill into these new miniature-sized Pondichery, Spiritus Sancti, and Chandernagor candles.

Born in 1643, Cire Trudon is the oldest wax manufacturer still operating. It became 'Manufacture Royale de Cire' in the 18th century and later created a unique vegetable wax made of palm, rice, soy, and copra oil. Its candlewicks are weaved with pure cotton. Each glass is handmade in Vinci, Italy. The Trudon candles are natural and respect their environment.
