Acne "Midnight" Trench
I actually posted about this before, but with only one picture I wasn't sure that everyone fully understood how badass this trench is, and since I want to make sure we're all on the same page here... take two!
Acne "Midnight" Trench Coat ($849)

Crazy details. The top zip pocket is bigger and is actually a vent that goes through the entire trench so that you can reach into your pant or blazer pockets to pull out your pen, keys, court summons documents, concealed weapon, etc.
Removable collar...
Detail of the sleeves...
For further Acne gear that absolutely kills it for Seattle's rainy season, see the "Misty" waxed cotton jacket, previously reported on Here and Here.

Acne "Misty" Revisited
I posted this wax cotton parka very recently. Just as recent, Style.com had a feature on Anoraks, including the Acne "Misty."
"Though better known for skintight denim, here the rockin' Swedes at Acne prove they're equally adept at above-the-waist style. Made from waterproof waxed cotton, the anorak combines modern proportions and detailing with old-fashioned function, including heavy-duty zippers and drawstrings, as well as cinched cuffs. Not to mention a hood big enough to keep that neo-glam shag nice and dry." (link)

Blackbird Looks in GQ

The February 2007 issue of GQ featured the gentleman sporting a Blackbird outfit. His tie is Band of Outsiders, which we have in stock, and his zip around the hood hoodie is from Acne Jeans which is on the way. If you like to hoodie, let us know now as we have already started a waiting list.

Acne "Limit" T-shirts

Last week we got these great shirts from Acne. U-necks and other wide-neck shirts have been very popular in Japan and Europe but in America are rather difficult to come by. With these shirts from Acne, one of my personal favourite U-neck cuts is finally available in Seattle. It's definitely not for everybody but for those of us who are into it, these are a godsend. $85 each.
