ROARK - CAN YOU KICK IT?

Roark's Quil Twisted Pant have an elongated leg with three panels making up the front and five panels making up the back. They have a relaxed fit with asymmetrical details throughout and two twill drawstrings as the closure. Soft fabrication plus relaxed fit equals the perfect kick-it pant.

DETAILS: Double layer black tank with scoop neckline and 2 inch wide shoulder. Under layer is connected at front and back neckline seam and outer layer is 4 inches longer than under layer at armhole. Diagonal raw hem with under layer measuring 3 3/4 inches longer than outer layer on the left side and tapering off on the right side.

NEW ARRIVAL: ROARK "SEINE" HOODED KNIT

Another new arrival from this young Los Angeles-based design collective. The "Seine" hooded knit is made from a super soft bamboo knit and has a relaxed draping fit through the torso and comfortably slim sleeves. It features a hook closure along either side of the hem that can be attached together or clipped to the fabric to create an extra voluminous or wrapped look. The combination of the bamboo fabric and loose knit creates a very light and airy piece that is perfect as a nice outer layer through the hot summer season.

INTRODUCING ROARK

Los Angeles-based Roark is a young brand formed to act as more of a multi-media collective than merely a fashion label. Originally just three people, other like-minded individuals quickly hopped on board with the project and the family continues to grow. Now officially just two seasons into its life, Roark is already turning heads and establishing fans around the world. Blackbird has picked up a handful of pieces for the spring/summer 2011 season and we are expecting more to come for fall/winter 2011. The youthful take on this relaxed urban look is very refreshing and easily fits in with a number of our favorite styles.
