Since 1933, Moore & Giles have been manufacturers of some of the finest leathers one can buy. In 2007 they branched out into top grade handbags and accessories. Recently, they have now come out with something every traveler needs - the George mini dopp kit. Made with their signature Brompton high grade leather from a 150-year-old Italian tannery in a method that defines a discerning, all-encompassing passion for producing the finest product available.

Their website describes this process the best: "These natural leathers are produced on the finest hides available, then processed with pure water straight from the Italian alps. An innovative hot wax tannage technique highlights the natural tones and rich colors of this leather that will only be enhanced over time in both feel and appearance."

This one is especially well-suited for the modern traveler. The particularly stringent security measures at airports these days that make all permitted toiletry sizes miniscule make this kit an obvious need. Quantities are limited. Perfect for gift giving whether for yourself or someone else.

Yesterday was our first day of the Moore & Giles Trunk Show (now located outside of Blackbird). The Airstream was packed with our customers and people from the neighborhood stopping in to check things out.
