ROBERT GELLER S/S2008 'BEUYS DON'T CRY'
Today was the much anticipated showing of Robert Geller's spring/summer 2008 collection in New York; the second collection of his own brand, formed after the disbanding of Cloak. His refreshing and somewhat varied collection takes quite a lot of influence from 70s skate culture, punk, gothic, and, most notably, German artist Joseph Beuys (the collection is called 'Beauys Don't Cry', after all.)
