ROBERT GELLER S/S 2008 1ST DELIVERY
The first delivery of Robert Geller's 2008 spring/summer collection is finally in the shop and ready to go and it is every bit as lovely as we had hoped it to be!

The purple color used in the leathers is absolutely beautiful! It is terribly subtle and, in most lighting, shows up more like a black or navy/charcoal shade. Under just the right lighting, though, the purple shows through unlike anything else. Unfortunately the color is very difficult to capture correctly in photos. As with many of Geller's pieces, the cuffs are cut at an angle but are also able to be buttoned up for a straight cuff.

The grosgrain fabric has a very cool rough wooly texture to it and is a very deep black color. The jacket is double vented, has functioning buttons at the cuff, and features taping detail along the lapel.

Each button is actually two, one black and one off-white, linked with a thread. You can switch the buttons as you please to show the two different colors.

Geller's sweatshirts are so simple but cut in such a way that is difficult to find anywhere else. The body is slim and the collar, while technically a crew neck, is cut slightly wide -- perfect for layering with a collared shirt, as in the runway look.

Once again, the impossible to capture purple color. Although it may seem surprising, due to the non-flashy nature of the leather, the pants are much more subtle as you may expect. They are an incredible slim fit in Geller's absurdly soft leather is going to be something to keep in your wardrobe for a long time.
