MIKE'S CHILI PARLOR
This may not be news to Ballard's old timers, but for those of you who have not discovered the savory joys of Mike's Chili Parlor, this is for you.
Since 1922, Mike's has been owned and operated by 4 generations of the Semandiris family. The famous "family secret" chili recipe is made by hand and you can get it on almost anything, including hot dogs, pasta (my pal West recommends this variety) or fries. Don't forget onions and cheese.
P.S. They also have a pretty decent jukebox.
