FALL LAYERING WITH THE ROBERT GELLER LACED CUFF OVERCOAT

As the temperatures drop, layering becomes absolutely crucial. I love cramming as much as possible under my coats while still remaining (hopefully) mobile. With so many fall pieces coming in, I am always playing around with the possibilities to get the full range of use out of the garments.

At the moment Robert Geller's Laced Cuff overcoat is my choice for bringing everything together. The rough tweed-like fabric gives any combination such a beautiful variation in texture and the smooth polyester lining through the sleeves will help your bundled-up arms to easily get in and out.

DETAILS: DETAILS: Long, slim (but forgiving) overcoat with waxed lace detail at the cuffs. The fabric is a 70% wool/25% polyester/3% nylon/2% acrylic blend that has a rough tweed-like feel and beautiful color and texture. Covered buttons. Lined through the body with 100% cotton and the sleeves with 100% polyester.Easily dressed up with a shirt and trousers, but the slim cut and lace detail help it to easily tend toward a more casual style, as well.

DETAILS: Slim-fitting 100% ribbed rayon tank top with 1/4" double-stitched piping at collar and armholes, 2 1/4" shoulders, and scooped unfinished rip-ready hem in bone grey. Torso is constructed from two magnificently engineered pieces of fabric, connected not at the shoulders, but by the asymmetrical V-shaped seams found at the front and back and completed by a single side seam along the left side.

DETAILS: Made from a cotton twill with a bit of stretch in them (5%) for comfort. The leg is constructed with a twisted seam detail that is achieved through careful work with paneling in the pattern. This detail, when worn, results in a leg which tightly hugs the leg and bunches down to the hem. The legs were also made with a super long inseam which helps bring this bunching affect to an extreme. While the leg does fit slim, the upper block is quite relaxed with a slight anti-fit feel. The subtle details of these jeans effortlessly create a dramatic look that anyone can wear.
