COMING FOR SPRING/SUMMER 2011: PETAR PETROV

I have long been a fan of the great Vienna-based designer Petar Petrov and upon seeing the refreshingly feel-good runway presentation for his spring/summer 2011 collection, found no reason for Blackbird to be without his grace any longer. A trip to see the collection in person uncovered a treasure trove of absolutely fantastic garments that we had no problem at all fitting into our world. Our buy focuses on a darker palette than shown on the runway, but the lovely fabrics, innovation, and design are still very much apparent.
