Odyn Vovk - 2-Pocket Leather Shirt-Jacket

DETAILS: Slim-fitting leather shirt-jacket made from a super tough calf hide. Clean, basic design with raw seam work on the front and back. While the fit is on the slim side, this supple leather will stretch and mold to the wearer's body for a second-skin fit. Unlined. Six-button closure. Raw hem. Made in the USA.

Odyn Vovk - LBP Jacket

DETAILS: Collarless jacket with contrasting body and sleeves. Main body is made from a tough unlined grainy calf hide while the sleeves are made from a 54% linen/35% cotton/11% metal and lined with 98% cotton/2% lycra. Due to the metal in the sleeve blend, the fabric naturally has a very unique crumpled texture. Features a strap attachment detail going down the center-back. Double zip closure. Made in the USA.

BOIS 1920 AT THE BLACKBIRD APOTHECARY

The Apothecary is pleased to announce that we now carry four fragrances from Bois 1920, the celebrated Italian perfumery known for their use of the finest raw materials and lasting power. Paraphrased from their brand biography at LuckyThe brand was founded in 1920 in Florence by Guido Galardi when he opened a little shop called Bottega Italiano Spigo, though he was forced to close his doors just five years later as his son showed absolutely no interest in continuing the family business. Fast-forward one generation: Guido's grandson—Enzo—has resurrected the family trade and established Bois 1920 in honor of grandfather, reinterpreting his and subsequently recreating modern renditions of Guido's carefully designed formulas.

Spring/Summer 2011 sees the release of Odyn Vovk's first sneaker style. The minimal silhouette and monochrome palette are exactly what we would hope and it is the perfect compliment for the brand's style. Made in Japan from a buttery soft calfskin and fully lined with a sturdy canvas. Construction utilizes careful paneling which creates a further unique look. Features a back zipper and black-waxed extra long laces with metal tip.
