ROBERT GELLER F/W 2007-08

If you have been following the blog in the past months or been into the store to hear me ramble on of my admiration for the line, you should be starting to become familiar with Robert Geller. Geller is an extremely talented designer who has been most noted for his contributions to the recently defunct Cloak. This season saw the launch of his own line, bringing quite a breath of fresh air to the world of American menswear. For further information regarding Geller, please refer to our past posts.

(pictures from Robert Geller's f/w2007 presentation are by George Gozum)

Prussian Coat in black ($515) -- pictured above in both black or beige; we have only the black.
A very beautiful, dramatic coat with laces along the cuffs, cotton lining, and a removable collar made of a ridiculously soft polyester. The bottom portion can be worn either flat or buttoned, as in the pictures. Click here to also see this coat in part of men.style.com's fall buyer's guide.
Sizes: 46, 48, 50

Waxed Cotton Strap Coat ($499)
Two of three of the lovely coats we received this season. This is the heavy waxed cotton version of the Strap Coat (wool version is below), with a very gentle feeling polyester/viscose rayon blend lining. The straps wrap through their corresponding slots then back around and onto the button. When unstrapped and left open, the straps dangle down in a very cool fashion.
Sizes: 46, 48, 50

Wool Strap Coat ($555)
... and, the wool version of the Strap Coat. The outer layer is a soft and thick wool/nylon/angora blend while the lining of the same absurdly soft polyester as the collar on the Prussian coat.
Sizes: 48, 50

Leather Bomber ($1350) -- also pictured above.
A perfectly slim leather jacket made from a buttery soft cow skin outer with removable lamb fur collar. Very nice!
Sizes: 46, 50

Dress Shirt in grey ($149)
Sizes: 46, 48, 50, 52

Dress Shirt in beige ($149)
Sizes: 46, 48, 50, 52
