DETAILS: Anvers 2 is one of the best unisex fragrances we have in our shop. Which is a big surprise considering it shares the same title as Ulrich Lang's first scent, Anvers, which is anything but feminine. It's unisex nature can be attributed to the brilliant study in contrast that is Anvers 2, marked not only by an exceptionally potent base but also by an expertly blended and diverse selections of fruit, floral, and wood that deliver a clean, fresh, and nearly-edible fragrance. This is the scent for a man who's interested in an alternative to the deep, heavy, overpowering fragrances generally associated with men's perfuming. Precise and contained though never failing to lose it's striking character, this one is for nonchalantly sipping wine at a cocktail party, wearing a perfectly cut suit, calmly observing your constituents from a close distance. DETAILS: Nightscape, Ulrich Lang's most recent fragrance is intended to be evocative of a city skyline at night and a modern take on patchouli as described by Lang himself. Though patchouli frequently conjures hippie dreams, here the famous plant comes off nearly metallic, at least slightly plastic, giving this surprising scent a futuristic odor. A former marketing man for L'Oreal Germany and a veteran of New York City's art publishing arena, Ulrich Lang launched his first fragrance, Anvers, in 2003, and has now successfully produced two follow-ups: Anvers 2 and the brand new Nightscape Eau de Toilette.

In the conceptual stages of his latest launch, Lang, a lifelong fan of patchouli, decided to develop a fragrance that contained the scent, but was determined to craft a product that pointed to the future rather allowing it to lean on the 60's and 70's vibes usually associated with the ingredient.

Nightscape is a mysterious and long lasting scent with notes of bergamot, “green” notes, a floral heart note of jasmine and geranium interwoven with cedarwood and a base of soft leather notes, musk, amber, tonka bean and patchouli.
