THE BOXES
One of the first things you notice about Under Summit Wear are the heavy-duty storage boxes. The boxes are all custom made/assembled for each garment and it really sets the mood for the whole line, giving it a very hand-made and old-timey feel. As mentioned above, the boxes make the line a very easily "giftable" choice, making even very simple t-shirts into very special item which anyone will love to receive.
THE DETAILS
The details are really where N. Hoolywood excels time and time again in all of its lines and garments. Each style has its own subtle details but there are also a few major ones which you will notice each style sharing.
THE FIT
Another part of the beauty in the line is how nicely it fits! Tons of work has been put into the pattern-making so that the sizes sit comfortably on many different body types. When specific styles fit more snugly, you will often find that the fabric is woven with a little bit more "give" in it so that it can stretch with the wearer. Every detail in the fit, from the sleeves to even the neckline, has been considered and tweaked with the wearer's comfort in mind.
A lot of the line fits quite slim but the sizing is intended for sizing up or down to allow for the fit you are looking for specifically in the garments. Buy your normal size to wear for an under layer, fitting snugly with the body, or size up for a more relaxed everyday fit. In general, each person is going to have at least two sizes to wear. in black
DETAILS: Long-sleeve light-weight knit modeled after early 1900s wool knit underwear. It is made from a terribly soft wool which can be worn either as an under layer or alone as a sweater. The doubled weave around the hem and lighter weave along shoulder line emphasize the look of authentic old-fashioned knitwear. Made in Japan from 100% wool.

DETAILS: Waffle-knit long-sleeve t-shirt made from a thick heavy cotton. Perfect as an under layer or even worn alone. The main body is stretchy to allow for a slim fit while the neckline has a tape binding so that it holds its shape. The seams feature heavy-duty overlock stitching to keep the construction very tough, ready to last for years.
